As per reports, US Consulate General Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico is scheduled to temporarily suspend in-person routine and emergency services on Tuesday (29 September) due to anticipated significant rainfall from Hurricane Polo and potential flooding and road closures in the area.
• The suspension is scheduled to remain in effect throughout Tuesday (29 September), with regular services expected to resume during normal business hours on Wednesday (30 September).
• Flooding and mudslides may affect roads in and around Hermosillo, particularly in areas of steep terrain.
• Flights to and from Hermosillo may experience disruptions due to adverse weather conditions.
