As per reports, following are the latest updates on the wildfire in Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park on Saturday (08 August):

• The flames have reportedly spread towards the Hill B29 area in Argosari Village, Senduro District, Lumajang Regency, East Java on Saturday (08 August).
• Joint personnel from the Regional Disaster Management Agency, local police, and the Indonesian Armed Forces were deployed to establish ground barriers.
• Aerial suppression operations from the National Disaster Management Agency and East Java Regional Disaster Management Agency were initiated at 1000 hours (local time) on Saturday (08 August).
