As per reports, waterlogging has affected several parts of Guwahati on Wednesday (05 June). Due to the heavy rainfall and waterlogging, traffic disruptions have been reported in Jorabat and Hatigaon.

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), yellow alert for heavy rainfall has been issued in Kokrajhar, Dhubri, South Salmara Mancachar, Chirang, Bongaigaon, Goalpara, Baksa, Barpeta, Kamrup Rural, Nalbari, Kamrup, Udalguri, Morigaon, West Karbi Anglong, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Cachar, Hailakandi and Karimganj districts on Wednesday (05 June).
