As per reports, following are the latest updates on damage and disruptions caused by Typhoon Dujuan in Japan, as of Saturday (26 September):
• The death toll from Typhoon Dujuan has reached 11, with three people still unaccounted for. Seven fatalities have been confirmed in Chiba Prefecture, and four have been confirmed in Kanagawa Prefecture.
• Train service between Kisarazu and Awa-Kamogawa is scheduled to resume from Saturday (26 September), in the Chiba Prefecture. Train services were previously disrupted due to Typhoon Dujuan. From Monday (28 September), JR East are considering implementing substitute transportation by bus and other means on four lines, including a section of the Uchibo Line.
