As per reports, nine students have been staging a hunger strike in Chittagong University since Wednesday (10 September), and are demanding the resignation of the proctoral body of the university.
The university administration proposed holding a discussion on Thursday (11 September), but students reportedly declined the offer. The administration later stated that they were willing to participate in a discussion on Sunday (14 September) afternoon.
