As per reports, as of 1500 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) on Sunday (12 April), rail traffic on the Rome–Florence High-Speed Railway Line has resumed normal operations following the completion of infrastructure upgrades linked to the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS).

• However, the conventional rail line had already reopened earlier at 0600 hours local time (0400 hours UTC) on Sunday (12 April). The final phase of work focused on the Orvieto–Settebagni section, completing the rollout of ERTMS across the high-speed corridor.
• Despite the restoration of services, a temporary reduction in commercial rail operations is expected on Monday (13 April), with full normalization anticipated from Tuesday (14 April) onward.
