As per reports, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Kurnool and Srisailam on Thursday (16 October). Following are the updates of the PM’s visit:
• PM Modi will perform religious rituals at Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Varla Devasthanam, Srisailam in Nandyal district at around 1115 hours (local time).
• PM will also visit Sree Shivaji Spoorthi Kendra in Srisailam to commemorate the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at 1215 hours (local time).
• The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone, inaugurate and dedicate to the nation multiple development projects worth around INR 13,430 crore in Kurnool at around 1430 hours (local time).
• Kurnool police will appoint 7,230 personnel for the public meeting at Nannur, while Nandyal police will ensure security with 1,800 staff for the PM’s Srisailam Temple visit.
• Heavy vehicles will not be allowed on the Srisailam Ghat road from 0900 hours (local time) to 1400 hours (local time) on Thursday (16 October) during the PM’s visit. Heavy vehicles and RTC buses will be diverted via Nandyal. Devotees have been urged to cooperate with the police.
• As per reports, all the vehicles from Adoni, Emmiganur, and Mantralayam areas will be re-routed via Nagalapuram to the designated parking at Ragamayuri. Traffic from Dhone, Tuggali, Pyapili, and Pattikonda will access parking via the National Highway and Tadakanapalli. Vehicles from Kurnool city will pass Nannur toll gate to reach parking zones, while traffic from Nandyal, Allagadda, and Banaganapalle will use the Nandyal road to reach Ragamayuri parking. An official announcement is awaited.
