As per reports, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi will inaugurate the East-West Metro’s Howrah Maidan-Esplanade section
on Wednesday (06 March) morning from Howrah. He will subsequently take a helicopter ride from there to Dum Dum airport to reach Barasat.

A road show covering 11 kilometers in the afternoon will then lead him to the rally ground at Barasat’s Kachari Maidan.
