Update on Philippines weather – Tuesday (18 June)

As per Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), following is the weather update for Tuesday (18 June).

• Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Zambales, and Bataan – Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are forecast and caused by Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rainfall is expected.
• Metro Manila, Zamboanga Peninsula, Western Visayas, the rest of MIMAROPA, Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas – Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are forecast and caused by Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
• The rest of the country – Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are forecast and caused by localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
