According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Tropical Storm Josie has weakened to Low Pressure Area (LPA) while moving north-northeastward over the Philippine Sea around 1400 hours (local time) on Tuesday (14 July), due to unfavourable environmental conditions.

The following are the details of the advisory issued at 1700 hours (local time) on Tuesday (14 July):

• The LPA, formerly Josie, is less likely to directly affect the weather condition of the country for the next coming days.
• On Tuesday (14 July), the Southwest Monsoon will bring strong to gale-force gusts, especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds, across Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon
• On Wednesday (15 July), severe winds are expected to affect Ilocos Region, Abra, Apayao, Zambales, Bataan, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands.
• Rough seas with waves up to three metres tall, are expected near the western seaboards of Babuyan Islands, the northwestern seaboard of Ilocos Sur and the seaboards of Ilocos Norte until Wednesday (15 July).
