As per reports, a landslide occurred near Waterfall Number Four on the main road in Amboli Ghat on Tuesday night (07 July), resulting in large boulders falling onto the roadway.
• Two to three large stones fell onto the road during a period of regular traffic movement; however, no vehicles were reportedly at the location when the incident occurred, and no casualties or major property damage were reported.
• The fallen boulders are currently obstructing part of the roadway, with only one-way movement permitted for two-wheelers and small four-wheelers.
• The National Highways Authority has been informed, and engineering teams, supported by a JCB machine, have been deployed to clear the debris and restore normal traffic movement.
