• Key organizations involved include the Nourrir collective, which encompasses environmental NGOs such as Greenpeace and WWF, along with farmer unions like the Confédération paysanne and the General Confederation of Labour (CGT- Confédération générale du travail).
• Concerns have been specifically raised regarding the bill’s provisions for the reintroduction of acetamiprid, a neonicotinoid pesticide, as well as measures facilitating water storage and the expansion of intensive livestock farms.
• Mobilisations are anticipated to continue on Monday (30 June) with a ‘peasant banquet’ protest scheduled for Monday (30 June) at 1130 hours (local time) in front of the French Senate in Paris.
