As per reports, the Ministry of National Defense (MND) tracked five Chinese military aircraft and five naval vessels around Taiwan on Friday (27 December).

• The five People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait median line in the nation’s northern and southwestern air defense identification zone, according to the MND.
• In response, Taiwan sent aircraft and naval ships and deployed coastal-based missile systems to monitor PLA activity.
