As per reports, the following are the latest situational updates on ASHA workers protest in Kerala as of Wednesday (09 April):

• On Monday (07 April), talks held between Kerala Labour Minister V Sivankutty and ASHA workers reportedly failed to reach a consensus, while the Kerala ASHA Health Workers Association (KAHWA) submitted a memorandum to the Labour Minister outlining their demands.
• However, Labour Minister V Sivankutty reportedly rejected the Asha workers’ strike demands and further clarified that there would be no more concessions provided to the ASHA workers, amid ongoing protests.
