As per reports, on Tuesday (20 May), the George Municipality announced an unplanned water outage affecting multiple areas due to a valve failure on the local water network.
• The affected areas include the Eden Meander Lifestyle Centre, Protea Park, Blue Mountain, and Town Lodge in George, Western Cape.
• Residents and businesses in these areas may experience no water supply or low water pressure until repairs are completed.
• Water trucks have been deployed to provide temporary relief and will circulate throughout the affected neighbourhoods.
• Technical teams from the municipality are on-site and are working to resolve the issue and restore normal service.
