University of Winnipeg working on restoring services following cyber attack

According to reports, the University of Winnipeg administration confirmed a cyber attack on Wednesday (27 March), prompting the shutdown of the network to protect its data. Although the university did not disclose further details about the attack, it acknowledged similar incidents affecting other organizations.

Consequently, the administration has opted to extend the winter semester by one week, until April 12.
