As per reports, an inter-union coalition (intersyndicale) comprising Confédération Française Démocratique du Travail (CFDT), Confédération Générale du Travail (CGT), Confédération Paysanne, Fédération Syndicale Unitaire (FSU), Solidaires, and Union Nationale des Syndicats Autonomes (UNSA) in Tarn issued a formal petition demanding local authorities ban a large banquet gathering hosted by the commercial organization ‘Le Canon Français’ in Albi on Saturday (12 September).
• Reports suggest that trade unions, civil society groups, and anti-fascist collectives are scheduled to convene counter-demonstrations and public rallies surrounding event venues across the Albi and Le Séquestre sectors.
• Reports indicate that local law enforcement agencies and the Tarn Prefecture are scheduled to deploy police personnel to establish security perimeters and maintain public order around event sites.
• Reports indicate that primary protest gatherings, security perimeters, and potential traffic disruptions are scheduled to remain active from 1100 hours local time (0900 hours UTC) until 2359 hours local time (2159 hours UTC) on Saturday (12 September).
