As per reports, Union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy is scheduled to visit Madurai on Thursday (30 January) to meet villagers of Vallalapatti after the decision taken by the Central Government to withdraw the proposed tungsten mining project in Arritapatti, Vallalpatti and Nayakarpatti areas.

He will meet the villagers at around 1600 hours upon their invitation.
