As per reports, the Nairobi County government has launched a single licensing platform for entrepreneurs and residents on Tuesday (02 January).

• The electronic Unified Business Permit (UBP) combines the business, fire, food, health, and advertising licenses into one, thereby eliminating the need to issue multiple licenses.
• The government also expects the platform to boost the county’s Own Source Revenues (OSR) performance, by sealing revenue leakage points.
• The UBP issuance is being activated on the NairobiPay Portal.
