As per reports, the United Democratic Front (UDF) workers staged a protest on Friday (28 February) and created a blockade at the Wayanad Collectorate due to alleged neglect by both the centre and the state governments towards the victims of the Mundakkai-Chooralmala landslides in Wayanad district in 2024. The UDF workers led by MLA T. Siddique disrupted daily work at the collectorate office by blocking all three entrances at the office premises.
