As per reports, smoke was observed emanating from the motor of a train operating on the route towards Henri Coandă Airport, within the locality of Otopeni, Ilfov County on Monday (23 June). The incident occurred approximately one kilometer from the airport station causing travel disruptions.
All 100 passengers aboard the affected train have been safely evacuated and subsequently transported to their destination by another train.
• The incident has led to disruptions in railway traffic, impacting the route of three passenger trains.
• No injuries have been reported as of yet.
