Train service disruption reported in Shipley station on Thursday (30 January)

As per reports, National Rail and Northern Rail announced on Thursday (30 January) morning that there are fewer trains operating between Shipley and Skipton railway stations due to a fault with the signalling system. It was also mentioned that trains running between these stations may be cancelled or revised.

The disruption is expected to last until 1230 hours (local time) and affects a variety of services, including:

• Between Carlisle/Morecambe/Lancaster/Skipton and Leeds.
• Between Carnforth/Skipton and Bradford Forster Square.
• Between Lancaster and Skipton.
