Train drivers’ strike to disrupt travel in parts of UK on Saturday (20 April)

As per reports, railway services between London in England, the North and Scotland, will be disrupted on Saturday (20 April), as members associated with Aslef at LNER are scheduled to carry out a strike in a dispute over work terms and conditions.

• Service between London King’s Cross and Edinburgh Waverley, and King’s Cross and Leeds will be reduced.
• The first train from London to Edinburgh, England, will run at 0730 hours and the last one at 1600 hours local time, while the first direct service to Leeds will depart at 1030 hours local time.
