As per reports, trains passing through Taunton experienced disruptions on Tuesday (02 July) afternoon due to a fire that broke out adjacent to the train tracks in Wiltshire.

• According to Great Western Railway, the trackside fire disrupted train traffic throughout the South West.
• Due to the fire incident, disruptions were reported on train lines between London Paddington and Plymouth via Taunton and Exeter St Davids. As of 1800 hours (local time), train services between the mentioned lines are returning to normal.
• Disruptions are expected to persist until 1900 hours (local time).
