According to reports, a traffic block is scheduled for two hours on the Mumbai lane of the Mumbai-Pune expressway due to gantry installation. As per Highway State Police officials, two legs serviceable gantry will be installed on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on the Mumbai channel at Km 29.400 and Km 9.800 in the limits of Highway Police Station, Palaspe from 1330 to 1530 hours on Thursday (11 January).

During the installation of the gantry, traffic of all types of light and heavy vehicles on the Mumbai lane will be completely stopped.

• Light vehicles and bus traffic going from Pune to Mumbai will be diverted from Khopoli Exit Km 39 and take National Highway No 48 i.e. Old Pune Mumbai Highway from Khopoli town and proceed on Mumbai lane via Shedung toll plaza.
• Light and heavy vehicle traffic going from Pune to Mumbai will be diverted from Khalapur Exit and will take National Highway No 48 i.e. Old Pune Mumbai Highway from Khalapur town and proceed on Mumbai lane via Shedung toll plaza.
