As per reports, travel restriction scheduled on the Trakia Motorway in the Sliven district, Bulgaria, affecting multiple sections until Saturday (27 June), following the ongoing maintenance activities.
• Reports indicate that ditch cleaning operations are planned between kilometres 229 and 286 and kilometres 273 and 354 in both directions. Vegetation clearing is planned from kilometres 245 to kilometres 273 towards Sofia, with restrictions on the emergency lane.
• Trench cleaning is planned between kilometres 245 and kilometres 260 in both directions, also restricting the emergency lane. Traffic is scheduled to be limited to one lane between kilometres 235 and 296 and kilometres 240 and 175 towards Sofia, with vehicles redirected to the overtaking lane.
• Road sections are marked with appropriate signage, and traffic is being managed with increased caution. Movement of heavy goods vehicles on road II-53 between Sliven and Yambol near Krushare has been restored.
