Traffic Police issues restrictions for elevated corridors in Bengaluru from Friday (04 September)

The Bengaluru Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory on movement restrictions for select categories of vehicles that will be implemented across major elevated corridors in Bengaluru from Friday (04 September).

Following are the details:

• On BGS Flyover (Mysuru Road), heavy goods vehicles are restricted 24 hours a day. All other categories of goods vehicles, including 03-wheeler goods autorickshaws, are restricted from 0700 hours (local time) to 1100 hours (local time) and from 1600 hours (local time) to 2200 hours (local time).
• On Peenya Elevated Corridor, passenger autorickshaws and 03-wheeler goods autorickshaws are restricted 24 hours a day. Heavy and medium goods vehicles are restricted from 0700 hours (local time) to 1100 hours (local time) and from 1600 hours (local time) to 2200 hours (local time).
• On Double-Decker Flyover from Silk Board to Ragigudda, heavy goods vehicles are restricted 24 hours a day.
• On International Airport Road Elevated Corridor from Sanjeevnagar Cross to Vidyashilpa Junction, 02-wheelers and autorickshaws are restricted 24 hours a day, while all categories of goods vehicles are restricted from 0600 hours (local time) to 2200 hours (local time).
