According to reports, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Traffic Police have announced traffic diversions in the Hinjawadi, Wakad, and Sangvi areas scheduled for Thursday (02 April).

The traffic changes will be implemented during the traditional ‘Bagad Miravnuk’ (procession) of the Gramdaivat Mhatoba Devachi Yatra, which is expected to draw a crowd of 40,000 to 50,000 devotees.

• The procession will commence at 1500 hours (local time), moving from Wakad Gavthan to Hinjawadi village. Concurrently, a ‘Gaivatra Bagad’ procession will take place in Pimple Gurav.
• Road closures and alternative routes are effective from 1200 hours (local time) to 2200 hours on Thursday (02 April). Essential service vehicles are exempted from these restrictions.
• Hinjawadi Traffic Division Diversions Tata T Chowk to Wakad Naka: Route closed. Vehicles will be diverted via Wipro Circle Phase 2, Shivaji Chowk, Tata T Junction, taking a left to Bhumkar Chowk.
• Geometric Circle to Wakad Naka: Route closed. Traffic will be routed from Meja-9 Chowk via a left turn to Bhumkar Chowk.
• Shivaji Chowk to Bhumkar Chowk: Route closed. Commuters must use the Indian Oil Chowk route towards Wakadgav.
• Indian Oil Chowk to Vinode Vasti Chowk: Route closed. Traffic bound for Hinjawadi Gavthan via Kasturi Chowk will be diverted through Shivaji Chowk towards Wakadgaon.
• Indian Oil Chowk to Wakad Naka & Sayaji Underpass: Route closed. Vehicles will be redirected via Wakad Overbridge/Wakadgav.
• Mula River Bridge (Pancharatna) to Wakad Naka (Bhujbal Chowk): Route closed. Commuters will be routed via the Service Road to Wakad village and Hinjawadi Highway.
• Wakad Traffic Division Diversions Kaspate Chowk to Wakadgav Chowk: Route closed. Vehicles must take a right from Kaspate Chowk towards Jagtap Dairy Chowk.
• Mankar Chowk to Wakadgav Chowk: Route closed. Vehicles can either proceed via Kalewadi Phata or take a left from Mankar Chowk towards Kaspate Chowk.
• Kaspate Corner to Wakadgav Chowk: Route closed. Traffic will be diverted to the right towards Mhatoba Chowk via Pink City Road. Vehicles from Mhatoba Chowk will be routed via Mankar Kaspate Chowk.
• Wakadgav Chowk to Wakad Gavthan & Wakad Naka: Route closed. Traffic will be diverted via Datta Mandir Road.
• Jaguar Showroom to Sayaji Underpass (Service Road): Route closed. Commuters must use the main highway.
• Datta Mandir Road (Utkarsh Chowk to Wakadgaon Chowk): Route closed. Vehicles from Utkarsh Chowk must take a left, while those coming from Mhatoba Chowk must turn right at Utkarsh Chowk onto Datta Mandir Road.
• Wakad Y-Junction to Kaspate Chowk: Route closed. Vehicles should proceed straight to Kalewadi Phata.
• Sangvi Traffic Division Diversions Datta Mandir Chowk to Pimple Gurav Kaman: Route closed. Traffic will be diverted via the Bank of Maharashtra towards Shivganesh Chowk.
