According to the Greater Chennai Traffic Police, traffic diversions have been issued in view of the second match of T20 International Men’s Cricket between India and England on Saturday 25 (January) at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium.

Traffic arrangements will be implemented from 1400 hours to 2300 hours for the following roads;

• Victoria Hostel Road (Canal Road): Entry only via Bharathi Salai. No entry from Wallajah road.
• Bells Road: To be operated as one way; entry from Bharathi Salai while no entry from Wallajah Salai.
• Bharathi Salai: All vehicles from Ratna Cafe towards Kamarajar Salai will be diverted at Bell’s road X Wallajah Salai. Vehicles from Bells Road towards Kannagi statue are not permitted.
• Kamarajar Salai (Marina Beach Road): After 2200 hours, route from Napier Bridge to Kannagi Statue is closed due to Republic day arrangements.
