As per reports, the Chandigarh Traffic Police announced traffic restrictions and diversions on key city stretches on Friday (04 September), to accommodate heavy devotee movement for Janmashtami celebrations.
• The temple-specific traffic curbs will remain active from 1200 hours (local time) on Friday (04 September) until 0100 hours on Saturday (05 September).
• Additionally, commuters should note that traffic will face temporary regulations earlier in the day on Friday (04 September) at 1030-1130 hours and 1445 hours and 1530 hours due to a scheduled Vice President’s visit.
• Affected areas include ISKCON Temple (Sector 36), Sector 20 Temples (including Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple and Shri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math).
