As per reports, traffic congestion on several provincial roads has been observed on Friday (28 February), on the first day of the Peace Memorial Day holiday. Further details are as follows:
• Traffic congestion was reported on the eastbound section of Provincial Highway 64 from Zhonghe to National Highway 03, the southbound section of Provincial Highway 65 from Tucheng to National Highway 03, the southbound section of Provincial Highway 2 from Waimushan to Dawulun, the southbound section of Provincial Highway 15 from Fengbiwei to Zhugang Bridge, the southbound section of Provincial Highway 61 from Longjing to Zhongzhang Bridge, the Zhongpu section of Provincial Highway 18, and the southbound section of Provincial Highway 01 from Jialu to Neishi.
• The Highway Bureau has further pointed out that on Saturday (01 March) i.e., on the second day of the long holiday heavy traffic is anticipated on some major provincial highways, sections connecting to national highways, and sections around tourist scenic spots, including Provincial Highway 61 (Fengbi to Xiangshan, Zhunan section and Zhongzhang Bridge), Provincial Highway 64 connecting to National Highway 03 Zhonghe Interchange, Provincial Highway 74 Taichung Ring Road connecting to National Highway 03 Expressway and Wufeng Interchange, Provincial Highway 18 connecting to National Highway 03 Zhongpu Interchange, Provincial Highway 86 Guiren Interchange and connecting to National Highway 01 Rende System Interchange, Provincial Highway 02 (Guandu to Tamsui, Wanli to Dawulun and Fulong sections), Provincial Highway 9A Xindian to Wulai, Provincial Highway 03 (Daxi section, Dahu section and Gukeng to Meishan), Provincial Highway 14A Cingjing Farm and Provincial Highway 21- Sun Moon Lake.
