As per reports, a vehicle fire occurred on Tuesday (28 April) at approximately 1840 hours (local time) on the Inner City (Dalkot) Toll Road in Jakarta, in the direction of Cawang.

• The incident took place across from the Polda Metro Jaya building, with flames and thick black smoke observed rising from the vehicle.
• Traffic movement was restricted to a single lane due to the ongoing fire, resulting in significant congestion along the toll road. Traffic conditions deteriorated rapidly, with congestion extending from the incident site toward the Palmerah area in West Jakarta. At the same time, traffic in the opposite direction toward Semanggi also experienced congestion, coinciding with evening peak hours.
• Police personnel were deployed at the location to manage traffic flow and reduce congestion. Firefighting teams subsequently responded to the scene and extinguished the fire after a period of active response.
