As per reports, on Thursday (05 June), a large crowd gathered for the Ganga Dussehra Snan, leading to heavy congestion at the Jasra railway crossing since early morning. The situation reportedly worsened due to the lack of proper administrative arrangements to manage traffic, causing significant inconvenience to commuters which is still ongoing.
On the Prayagraj-Banda highway, the movement of vehicles carrying pilgrims to and from the bathing site led to nearly a four kilometer-long jam on both sides of the crossing.
