According to reports, the Mumbai Air Show 2024, organised by the Indian Air Force, is set to take place at Marine Drive on Saturday (13 January) and Sunday (14 January) from 1200 hours to 1300 hours. To ensure smooth traffic management during the event, the Mumbai Traffic Police have implemented specific traffic regulations on both days, from 0900 hours to 1700 hours.

• Road Closure: N.S Road North Bound will be closed for all types of vehicular traffic, excluding emergency vehicles, proceeding both bounds from N.C.P. A Girguam Chowpatty (Vinoly Chowpatty).

Alternative Routes:
1. Ramnath Poddar Chowk (Godrej Junction) – Make a right turn at Maharshi Karve Road – Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction) – Marine Lines – Charni Road – Pandit Pulskar Chowk (Opera House) – Continue to the desired destination.
2. D.r. Babasaheb Ambedkar Junction – Make a left turn via Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil – CTO Junction – Continue to the desired Junction.

• N. S Road (South Bound) from Girgaum Chowpatty (Vinoly Chowpatty) to NCPA/Hutatma Rajguru Chowk (Mantralaya Junction) will be closed for all types of vehicles as per requirement.

Alternative Routes:
1. Kemps Corner Bridge: Take a left turn and proceed to the desired destination. At Nana Chowk.
2. From RTI Junction: Take a left turn to NS Patkar Marg – Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House) – Left turn at SVP Road. Also, take a right turn at Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House) and proceed to the destination via Maharshi Karve Road.

• Veer Nariman Road [North Bound] from North bound Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction) to Kilachand Chowk (Sunder Mahal Junction) will be closed for all types of vehicles.

Alternative Route:
Proceed to desired destination via Maharshi Karve Road-Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Chuchgate Junction) –Marine Lines-Charni Road- Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House Junction).

• Dinshaw Vacha Road [North Bound]: Closed from Chowk to Ratanial Babuna Chowk (Marine Plaza Junction) for all types of vehicles.

Alternate Route: Maharshi Karve Road – Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction) – Marine Lines – Charni Road – Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House Junction).

• Madamcama Road: North Bound Closed from Hutatma Rajguru Chowk (Mantralaya Jurisdiction) to Venutai Chavan Chowk (Air India Junction).

Alternate Route: Maharshi Karve Road – Ramnath Poddar Chowk (Godrej Junction) – Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction) – Marine Lines – Chowk (Opera House Junction).

• Barrister Rajni Patel Marg: Closed from Free Press Journal Junction to N 5 Road for all types of vehicles (excluding local residents and emergency vehicles).
• Vinay K Shah Marg (North Bound): Closed from Jamanatal Bajaj Marg to Murali Deora Chowk – N S Road Vinay K Shah Marg leading to the road will be closed for all types of vehicles (excluding local residents and emergency vehicles).
• From 0700 hours on Saturday and Sunday (13-14 January) until 1500 hours, parking of all types of vehicles will be prohibited on the South and North bound on the following roads:
