As per the Gurugram Traffic Police, the following restrictions on traffic movement have been put in place for Republic Day (Friday, 26 January):
• Between 1700 hours of Thursday (25 January) and 1330 hours of Friday (26 January), no heavy or medium vehicles will be allowed to enter Delhi or Gurugram.
• During the aforementioned hours, heavy vehicles coming from the Jaipur side of National Highway (NH) 48 will be diverted via the KMP Expressway at Pachgaon in Gurugram Rural, thereby preventing their entry into Gurugram Metro.
• Heavy vehicles within Gurugram will be diverted at the following points: Kherki Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, IFFCO Chowk, and Shankar Chowk, thereby preventing their entry into Delhi.
