According to reports, Mumbai Police issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Remembrance Day on Sunday (14 April).

• One-way/road closure for vehicular traffic on the following roads:- S. K. Bole Road will be one-way from Siddhi Vinayak Junction to Portugues Church. This means there will be no entry from the Portuguese Church to Siddhi Vinayak Junction.- S.V.S. Road will be closed for all types of vehicular traffic from Siddhi Vinayak Junction to Yes Bank Junction. Local residents can use Road No. 5 (Pandurang Naik Marg).- Ranade Road will be closed for all types of vehicular traffic.- Dnyaneshwar Mandir Road will be closed for all types of vehicular traffic from its junction at S.V.S. Road up to Dadar Chowpatty.- All heavy vehicles, goods vehicles, including tempos (except BEST buses), will be diverted from Mahim Junction via L. J. Road.
• In case of heavy traffic congestion:- South-Bound Traffic: Vehicles heading from the Western Express Highway towards Mumbai should turn left at Kalanagar Junction. Proceed through Dharavi T Junction towards Sion Railway Station or take 60 ft Road Dharavi via Kumbharwada and then turn right at Sion Hospital onto Dr. B. A. Road. Alternatively, they can use the Bandra-Worli Sea Link via Bandra to proceed towards South Mumbai.- North-Bound Traffic: Vehicles from Colaba or CSMT heading north should proceed through P D’mello Road, Barrister Nath Pai Road, Zakeria Bunder Road, and R.A.K. Road. Then, take a right turn under Matunga Arora bridge and proceed along Sion Hospital or use the Worli-Bandra Sea Link towards north Mumbai.- Traffic from Mahalaxmi Railway Station: North-bound traffic from Mahalaxmi Railway Station via Dr. E. Moses Road should take a right turn at Rakhangi Chowk and proceed through Senapati Bapat Road for their further journey.- Traffic from Eastern Express Highway: Vehicles heading towards South Mumbai from the Eastern Express Highway should use Wadala Bridge, Barkat Ali Naka, BPT Colony, and proceed via the Eastern Freeway for their further journey.
• No Parking Zones:- S. Veer Savarkar Road from Babasaheb Worlikar Junction (Century Junction) to Yes Bank Junction- Ranade Road- Dnyaneshwar Mandir Road- Keluskar Road (South) and (North)
