As per reports, traffic restrictions are imposed in Thrissur city on Wednesday (18 September) for the Puli Kali festival.
• Parking will be banned in Swaraj Round and Thekinkad Maidani and Naikkanal areas.
• Vehicular movement around Swaraj Round and nearby roads will be controlled as per situational requirements from 1400 hours. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter the area until the end of the festival.
• Foot patrols, two-wheeler patrols and jeep patrols will be deployed along with CCTV cameras across major parts of Thrissur to mitigate possible disruptions.
