Traffic advisory issued for Ravanadh on Thursday (02 October) in Patna

As per the Patna Traffic Police, an advisory has been issued for Ravanadh (religious event) on Thursday (02 October) in Patna from 1100 hours at Gandhi Maidan.

The details are as follows:

• No vehicle will operate from Bhattacharya Square towards North Gandhi Maidan.
• The route from Dakbangla Square to Gandhi Maidan will be for the movement of VIPs only.
• From Dakbungalow Square, all types of vehicles will be allowed to proceed towards New Dakbungalow, Bhattacharya More towards Rajendra Path.
• There will be a ban on entry of vehicles from New Dak Bungalow to SP Verma Road.
• The route between Gandhi Maidan and Children’s Park will be open for emergencies.
• Movement of vehicles from in front of the Commissioner’s office (roundabout on JP Ganga Path) towards Gandhi Maidan will be completely banned.
• Movement of vehicles from Ramgulam Chowk towards JP Golambar will be completely banned.
• There will be no parking of any type of vehicle, cart/stall etc. on the road from JP Golambar to Dakbangla Chowraha and from Dakbangla Chowraha to Patna Junction Golambar.
• There will be no parking of vehicles on the road from Ramgulam Chowk to the entire Exhibition Road.
• There will be no parking of any type of vehicle from District Magistrate’s residence (Children Park) to Police Line Tiraha.
• No vehicles of any kind will be allowed to ply from Thakurbari Mor/Bakarganj Mor towards West Gandhi Maidan.
• There will be no movement of any type of vehicles from IMA Hall, Hotel Panash, Twin Tower, Maurya Hotel towards Gandhi Maidan.
• No vehicles of any kind will be allowed to ply from Govind Mitra Road turn towards Kargil Chowk.
• Rickshaws, carts, tempos and other slow moving vehicles going from Bailey Road towards Gandhi Maidan will be diverted right from Income Tax roundabout to Veerchand Patel Path.
• All roads leading towards Gandhi Maidan from Kotwali T Point to Police Line Tiraha on Buddha Marg will remain closed for vehicular movement.
