As per reports, a protest march is scheduled to take place in Pune on Saturday (08 August), due to which traffic restrictions have been imposed until the conclusion of the march.

The details are as follows:

• The march will take place from Shaheer Amar Shaikh Chowk to Maaldhakka Chowk and Bohri Ali Mata Chowk.
• Shaheer Amar Sheikh Chowk ➝ Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk (Maldhakka Chowk); Traffic on this route will be diverted via RTO Chowk to Jahangir Chowk.
• RTO Chowk ➝ Jahangir Chowk / Shahir Amar Sheikh Chowk; Traffic on this route will be diverted to Kumbharves Road.
• GPO Chowk ➝ Bolhai Chowk / Maldhakka Chowk; Traffic on this route will be diverted via Kirad Chowk and Nehru Memorial Chowk.
• Pune Station Chowk ➝ Maldhakka Chowk; Traffic will be diverted via Alankar Chowk.
• Narpatgiri Chowk ➝ Maldhakka Chowk; Traffic on this route will be diverted via 15th August Chowk ➝ Kamala Nehru Hospital ➝ Pavale Chowk ➝ Kumbharves Chowk.
• Banerjee Chowk ➝ Shaheer Amar Sheikh Chowk; Traffic going in this direction will be diverted via Narpatgiri Chowk ➝ 15th August Chowk ➝ Kamala Nehru Hospital ➝ Pavale Chowk ➝ Kumbharves Chowk.
• Heavy congestion is likely in Bund Garden, Pune Station, Maldhakka, GPO Chowk, and surrounding areas.
