The Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for Ganesha Immersion at Halasuru Lake between from Thursday (04 September) to Sunday (07 September). Traffic movement will be regulated from 1400 hours to 0400 hours (local time) daily to facilitate immersion processions and manage congestion.
• Kensington Road (Kensington–Murphy Junction) will be one-way from the MEG side. Annaswamy Modaliar Road will be one-way from RBI Junction. Halasuru Lake road will be one-way towards Thiruvallavar Statue.
• Vehicles from Kensington via MEG should take a right turn at Gurudwara Junction and proceed via Gangadhara Chetty Road, Dickenson Road, St. John’s Road, Sri Circle, and Lavanya Theatre towards Halasuru.
• Vehicles from Thiruvallavar should use Gangadhara Chetty Road–RBNMS (left), Dickenson Road, and St. John’s Road.
• Parking will not be permitted at Halasuru Lake entrance, Kensington Road, Annaswamy Modaliar Road, and Tank Road.
