According to reports, the Hanoi Department of Construction announced traffic adjustments at the La Thanh-Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection and nearby roads from Saturday (30 May) to facilitate the construction of Station S3 under Hanoi Metro Line 05, which covers the Van Cao-Ngoc Khanh-Lang-Hoa Lac corridor. The adjustments will remain in place until a replacement notice is issued.

• The intersection will shift from traffic-light control to a self-regulated traffic arrangement. Vehicles will move through temporary roads, road markings, direction signs, and U-turn points arranged at median openings on La Thanh and Nguyen Chi Thanh roads.
• During the first three days, the contractor will conduct trial fencing and trial operation to monitor traffic conditions and adjust the plan if required. Guidance personnel will coordinate with the traffic police to support movement near the construction area. Construction vehicles and machinery will only be allowed to enter and exit the site from 2200 hours to 0500 hours (local time), except where special permits are issued.
• The Hanoi Department of Construction has directed the Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board to coordinate public communication. Traffic police have been requested to manage traffic flow and address illegal parking, while Giang Vo and Lang ward authorities will monitor pavement and road encroachment around the project area.
