As per reports, a tornado watch has been issued in parts of the US on Tuesday (21 May), as follows:
• In Missouri, including the cities of Fairfax, Rock Port, and Tarkio, valid until 1700 hours CDT. In other parts of Missouri, including Adair, Andrew, Barry, Barton, Bates, Benton, Buchanan, Caldwell, Camden, Carroll, Cass, Cedar, Chariton, Christian, Clay, Clinton, Cooper, Dade, Dallas, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Greene, Grundy, Harrison, Henry, Hickory, Holt, Howard, Jackson, Jasper, Johnson, Laclede, Lafayette, Lawrence, Linn, Livingston, Macon, McDonald, Mercer, Morgan, Newton, Nodaway, Pettis, Platte, Polk, Putnam, Randolph, Ray, Saline, Schuyler, St. Clair, Stone, Sullivan, Vernon, Webster, and Worth until 2200 hours CDT.
• In Oklahoma, including Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner, and Washington until 2200 hours CDT.
• In Arkansas, including Benton, Carroll, Madison, and Washington until 2200 hours CDT.
• In Kansas, including Allen, Anderson, Atchison, Bourbon, Cherokee, Crawford, Doniphan, Franklin, Johnson, Labette, Leavenworth, Linn, Miami, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson, and Wyandotte until 2200 hours CDT.
• In Iowa, the watch includes eight counties in southwest Iowa: Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie, and Shelby; and one county in west-central Iowa: Monona. The watch is in effect until 1700 hours CDT. In Nebraska, the watch includes two counties in southeast Nebraska: Nemaha and Richardson. Cities affected include Auburn, Clarinda, Council Bluffs, Dunlap, Falls City, Farragut, Glenwood, Hamburg, Harlan, Logan, Mapleton, Missouri Valley, Onawa, Red Oak, Shenandoah, Sidney, Tabor, and Woodbine.
