Tornado warnings in effect in parts of Kansas and Oklahoma on Thursday (07 March) evening

As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued tornado warnings for portions of southeastern Kansas and parts of Oklahoma for Thursday (07 March) evening.

• At 1807 hours (local time) Thursday (07 March), a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Caney, moving east at 20 mph.
• In Oklahoma, the tornado is mainly expected to affect the rural areas of northern Washington County till 1845 hours (local time) on Thursday (07 March).
• At 1814 hours (local time) Thursday (07 March), a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Tyro, or near Caney, moving east at 20 mph.
• In Kansas, the tornado warning has been issued for Southern Montgomery County in southeastern Kansas till 1900 hours (local time) Thursday (07 March). Tornado and quarter size hail are expected over Tyro, Dearing and Coffeyville between 1820-1830 hours (local time).
