As per a Facebook post by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, a statewide protest has been announced against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday (23 December) against alleged derogatory remarks made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah about Dr. BR Ambedkar.
CM Banerjee has called for protest rallies from 1400 hours to 1500 hours in every block, municipality of the state and in every ward of Kolkata.
