According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia), inclement weather is forecast till 1900 hours on Friday evening (10 May). Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected over the following areas;
• Perlis, Kedah, Penang (North Seberang Perai, Central Seberang Perai and South Seberang Perai).
• Perak • Pahang (Cameron Highlands and Rompin).
• Selangor (Sabak Bernam and Hulu Selangor) • Melaka • Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, Muar and Mersing).
• Sarawak: Kuching (Bau and Kuching), Sri Aman, Kapit (Belaga), Bintulu (Sebauh) and Miri (Beluru and Telang Usan).
