The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm warning valid until 0900 hours (local time) on Wednesday (25 February), affecting multiple districts in Sarawak and Sabah.
• Thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rainfall and strong winds are expected across parts of Sarawak, including Sibu (Selangau), Mukah, Kapit (Kapit and Belaga), Bintulu, Miri (Subis, Beluru, and Telang Usan), and Limbang (Lawas).
• In Sabah, affected areas include the Interior districts of Sipitang, Tenom, Beaufort, Nabawan, and Keningau; West Coast (Papar); Tawau division (Tawau, Kunak, and Semporna); and Sandakan division (Tongod).
