The Department of Meteorology (DOM) of Sri Lanka has issued heavy rainstorm warning for noon and evening hours, in most parts of the region, especially in Northern, North-central, Eastern, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts, on Friday (05 January).
