According to reports, the Panchkula police acting on a tip-off, the Panchkula police raided an illegal unit at Nada village on Morni road on Monday (13 May) and discovered three illegal liquor manufacturing units operating at various locations in Panchkula. The police seized 580 litres of lahan along with 57 bottles of illicit liquor.

In another case, police officials found an illegal liquor manufacturing unit near Dangri river. Police seized two drums containing 160 litres of lahan and 51 bottles of illicit liquor. In the third case, police officials raided a site near Ghaggar river in Sector 23 and seized 195 litres of lahan.
