Three gas cylinder exploded in Delhi on Sunday (14 June); no casualties reported

As per reports, a major fire broke out on Sunday (14 June) at the ‘Punjabi Tadka’ restaurant near the Govindpuri flyover in Delhi’s Kalkaji area, triggering explosions in three commercial LPG cylinders.

Quick action by responders ensured zero casualties, and an intensive rescue operation safely evacuated a resident trapped on the second floor. A massive response was deployed, with up to 14 fire tenders dispatched by the fire department to douse the flames.
