According to reports, Thailand’s Prime Minister (PM) Anutin Charnvirakul’s government has appointed new cabinet members, and their swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Monday (06 April) in Bangkok.
The following are the latest updates available:
• New Cabinet will arrive at the Santi Maitri Building at approximately 1500 hours (local time) for photo taking for their ministerial identification cards and COVID-19 screening.
• At approximately 1700 hours (local time) the cabinet members along with the PM will depart for Amporn Sathan Palace, Dusit Palace, to attend an audience with His Majesty the King to take the oath of office and officially begin their duties.
• Following the audience with His Majesty, the Prime Minister will chair a special cabinet meeting, expected to be held around 2100 hours (local time), to prepare for the government’s policy statement to parliament and discuss measures to address the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
